Tomorrow is the big day for jokesters, when pranks and silly games are played in celebration of April Fools Day. The origins of this holiday is unknown. Some think an April Fool was the term applied to those who still followed the Julian Calendar when the Gregorian Calendar was adopted. Another theory is that France considered April 1 the start of the new year until King Charles IX changed it to January 1, with those who did not follow being called April Fools.
